Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar storage that Francton Limited, operating as Garisea (“Garisea”, “we”), uses on the dealer console at dealer.garisea.com: what each one does, how long it lasts, and how you can control it.

It pairs with the Dealer Privacy Notice, which explains how we use the data. The dealer side of the Garisea app is covered in Section 10.

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. The console also keeps data in your browser's local storage (kept until you clear it) and session storage (cleared when you close the tab). This policy calls all of these “cookies” and treats them the same way.

We use five kinds:

• Essential — sign you in and keep the console secure. Always on (Section 3).
• Preferences and features — remember your choices and keep your work on this device (Section 4).
• Analytics — show us how the console is used. On by default; you can switch it off at any time (Section 5).
• Error monitoring — tells us when a page fails (Section 6).
• Advertising — measures Garisea's own dealer-recruitment ads, only on the pages you see before signing in. On by default; you can switch it off at any time (Section 7).

These are strictly necessary. Without them you can't sign in, save a form, or stay signed in from one page to the next, so you can't switch them off here. Blocking them in your browser breaks the console.

When you sign in or sign up, our bot-protection provider checks that you are a person. The check runs on the provider's own domain and may set its own cookies there.

These remember choices you have made and keep your work on this device. Clearing them resets the console to its defaults; nothing else breaks, but you would lose an unsaved listing draft.

Analytics shows us how dealers use the console: which features they reach, where they get stuck, and what to fix first. We collect it under our legitimate interest in running and improving the console, so it is on by default. You can switch it off at any time, and we honour that choice.

Google Analytics 4. Google sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID> (up to 2 years) to count visits and sessions. After you sign in, we send Google your dealer account ID, never your name, email or phone number, so your visits on different devices count once. We don't use Google Analytics to advertise to you.

Switching it off. Turn off Analytics in the cookie banner (reopen it with Cookie settings in the footer), or send a Global Privacy Control signal (Section 9). Google Analytics then stops for that browser.

Activity on your account. Separately from cookies, we record against your account when you see an upgrade prompt, open a pack page, start a checkout, or view or use a feature. We use this to run the console and to see which features dealers use, and keep it for 400 days. The Analytics switch doesn't turn this off.

When a page in the console fails, our error-monitoring provider receives the details: the error, the page, your browser and your account ID, so we can find and fix the problem. It also keeps a short replay of the screen just before the error, with all text masked and all images blocked. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the console working, so the cookie switches don't cover error monitoring.

Some features rely on other companies that set their own cookies. We don't control those cookies; each company's own policy applies to them.

• Meta Pixel (advertising) — loads only on the pages you see before signing in (sign-in, sign-up, password reset, email verification and staff invitations), never inside the console, by default; you can switch it off at any time by turning Advertising off in the cookie banner. Meta sets cookies named _fbp and _fbc. The pixel records page views and completed sign-ups so we can measure Garisea's own dealer-recruitment ads on Facebook and Instagram. It doesn't let other companies advertise to you. See Section 6.4 of the Dealer Privacy Notice.
• Bot protection — runs when you sign in or sign up (Section 3).
• Sign in with Google and web push — if you sign in with Google or allow browser notifications, Google may set its own cookies.
• Maps — the location picker in the listing form uses Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when the map loads.
• Images and documents — our media delivery network serves vehicle photos, logos and verification documents. Like any website, it sees your IP address.
• Payments — when you pay through our payment provider's checkout, the provider sets its own cookies on its own domain. They never reach dealer.garisea.com.

• Cookie settings — the cookie banner appears on your first visit. Reopen it at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer to turn Analytics or Advertising on or off.
• Start again — delete the garisea_dealer_cookie_consent cookie in your browser and the banner appears again on the next page.
• Your browser — every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies for each site. Look for “manage cookies” in your browser's help. Blocking essential cookies breaks sign-in.

Switching analytics or advertising off doesn't change how the console works for you.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as switching off analytics and advertising for that browser. We don't act on the older “Do Not Track” signal, because GPC and the cookie banner cover the same choice.

The Garisea app for iOS and Android has a dealer side: you can sign up, manage listings, answer leads and handle billing there. The app doesn't use browser cookies; it keeps similar data on your device. Section 7 of the Garisea Cookie Policy lists that storage, and it applies to the dealer side of the app too. When you use this console in your phone's browser, Sections 3 to 9 apply as normal.

We update this policy when we add or remove a cookie or a provider. For a material change we show a notice in the console. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
